Grupo Condumex

During 2018 Grupo Condumex recorded sales for $30.930 billion pesos, a figure which is compared to sales for $28.783 billion pesos recorded in the previous year, representing a favorable annual fluctuation of 7.5%.

In turn, operating profits and EBITDA were $4.015 billion pesos and $4.268 billion pesos, respectively, i.e. 9.6% and 12.0% less than the figures reported in 2017. These decreases are mainly the result of fluctuations in the price of copper, as well as the recognition of increased costs in connection with logistic and distribution activities within Grupo Condumex.

The net controlling profit was $2.753 billion pesos, a figure which is compared to $2.788 billion pesos obtained in 2017.

Grupo Condumex capital expenditures during the year, which were at $308 million pesos, were destined mainly to maintaining the division’s industrial infrastructure in satisfactory conditions, as well as the incorporation of new business.
